By using this site or submitting an order on-line, by phone or in person (showroom) for products or services, you indicate your acceptance of, and agreement to be bound by, the terms and conditions set forth below.

Customer Service
We are a customer-driven company and our goal at Krex is to provide the very best shopping experience available. Our salespeople participate in continuing education programs both internally and externally. They not only know the products, but also are service oriented to save you time, money, and aggravation.

We have a special team to constantly evaluate and obtain only the best products from leading manufacturers. We want you to have the best value, quality, technology, and functionality in anything purchased from Krex. We want you to have only products with strong manufacturer warranties and technical support, so you may feel comfortable with your purchase from Krex.

Krex Prices
We have extremely competitive prices. We do this several ways. First, we continually take advantage of every possible special purchase opportunity and discount available. We also shop the markets constantly to see the prices our competitors are offering. Finally, since we struggle to keep overhead to a minimum, we work with smaller margins to win your business. We reserve the right to limit quantities and vary prices in accordance with the quantity ordered.

Showroom
The prices for our products in our showroom location are the same as those listed on our website. At this time, we do not offer a will-call option for purchasing products in our showroom. Our products are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Contact us for any questions or availability. If an item requires Pre-payment (Special Order), this must be done in person. All CPUs purchased directly from our Morton Grove, IL showroom require the purchase of a matching CPU cooling fan.

Krex Technical Support / RMA
Krex provides free support for 60 days after the purchase. (847-967-0275). We are here to service you during the week Monday - Friday from 10AM to 5PM. All computer / hardware components require professional installation. Software technical support is not available at this time. We recommend that you contact the software manufacturer for direct support.

Warranty and Return Policy:

  • Please keep all packing material and documentation including ORIGINAL INVOICE with serial numbers in the event your equipment has to be serviced or returned.
  • You MUST HAVE your Original Invoice for any Returns, Exchanges or Warranty Work. Otherwise, service fee & labor charges willl apply. NOTE: We Can Not print a copy of your invoice
  • Before returning any product for repair, refund, or exchange you must obtain a Return Materials Authorization Number (RMA).
  • Please have the following information on hand when calling for an RMA: name, invoice number, serial number, and the nature of the problem. RMA is only issued between 10am - 5pm CST (M-F) and are valid for 15 days.
  • All returns and exchanges must be in original packaging, have an RMA number and are subject to a 15% restocking fee. All returns received without a current RMA number on the outside of the package will be refused. No package of any type will be accepted without a current RMA number on outside of the package.
  • PLEASE NOTE: You must place the item(s) to be returned in protective packaging (shipping box) with bubble wrap and make sure that the item(s) do not shake or rattle. Items that are sent in envelopes and incorrect shipping containers will be refused and returned at your expense.
  • All defective products will be accepted directly by Krex for credit, exchange, or repair, at our discretion within 15 days from the invoice date. Return shipping must be paid by customer. Sorry No Exceptions.
  • We reserve the right to refer you directly to the manufacturer for all service.
  • We do not cross ship any products. We must receive the defective product and verify that it needs to be repaired or replaced before we ship a replacement part.
  • All returns for credit, refund, or exchange have a 15% restocking fee, they are issued from current price or original invoice, whichever is lower, and must be completed within 15 days of the invoice date. In addition we do not refund the shipping fee.
  • All products to be returned for a refund must be in 100% resalable condition and must include original packing material, manuals, blank warranty cards, and other accessories provided by the manufacturer.
  • Open Retail Boxed items are not 100% resalable and may not be returned for a refund. These are only eligible for their respective warranties expressly stated on our website.
  • Software may not be returned for a refund or credit. Any warranty is handled directly by the manufacturer.
  • All OEM CPUs come with a 30-day manufacturers warranty. This warranty does not cover any physical damage, burns, cracks, or over-clocking of the chip. CPU chips may not be returned for a refund under any circumstance.
  • Retail Boxed CPU chips may not be returned for a refund under any circumstance. These may be exchanged for the same item only, directly through manufacturer.
  • All Custom-built computers, Servers, Notebooks and Standard Computer systems are non-refundable; individual component warranties apply and may vary by manufacturer.
  • Hard drives, ATX Cases, Display Monitors & Motherboards are non-refundable once original packaging is opened. All warranties for these items are handled directly by the manufacturer.
  • Customer is responsible for paying all shipping costs to Krex Computers Inc.

Plans are available. Please ask our account representative.

Important Note
If the terms and conditions stated in your Purchase Order differ from those stated on our invoice, and you do not notify Krex of such within 7 days, it shall signify your acceptance of our original terms as stated on our invoice.

Shipping
Prices do not include shipping. Shipping charges are not refundable. Some products require special handling. If the shipping rate calculator returns a charge of $0.00 this does not mean your order ships free. A representative will contact you regarding the shipping options available. (Of course, this does not apply to items marked "Free Shipping.") Orders returned by the carrier as undeliverable or refused are subject to terms above (15% restocking) and a $50 processing fee plus all shipping charges.
